In line with our commitment to foster activities that enhance cognitive skills, TRRS hosted an Inter-House Chess Competition on 23 June 2025, where students from across Middle School participated with great enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

The event aimed to promote interest in chess among students, offering them a chance to showcase their strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.\u00a0 This competition also served as a good avenue to foster creativity, healthy competition, collaboration, and sportsmanship among participating students.<\/p>\n

At the end of a heated and nail-biting competition, House rankings following the final rounds were as follows:<\/p>\n

1st Place \u2013 Cobras<\/strong><\/p>\n

2nd Place \u2013 Hawks<\/strong><\/p>\n

3rd Place \u2013 Sharks<\/strong><\/p>\n

4th Place \u2013 Bears<\/strong><\/p>\n

A special commendation goes to the Middle School student organisers who played a pivotal role in planning and running the event smoothly: Lomharsh Singh, Ethan Williams, Saachin Raja, and Nana Kweku Nsenkyire. Their initiative abilities and leadership added tremendous value to the success of the competition!<\/p>\n

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Daniel Dodoo (History Teacher) and our dedicated Chess Club Patron, whose facilitation and mentorship continue to inspire TRRS students to explore the intellectual rewards of chess and other cognitive games.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to all participants, and we look forward to more competitions in the terms ahead!<\/p>\n
