TRRS participated in this year\u2019s DPSI Model UN Conference from 25 to 27 September 2025. It was a dynamic simulation exercise designed to cultivate diplomacy, leadership, and global awareness among students.<\/p>\n

The event brought together students from Form 5 to Upper 6, immersing them in the roles of international delegates. From the opening ceremony to the final debates, participants showcased remarkable growth in public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking. Initially reserved, many delegates soon found their voice, confidently presenting their country\u2019s positions and engaging in meaningful dialogue.<\/p>\n

A standout moment was the lobbying and merging process, which fostered collaboration and strategic alliances, paving the way for impactful resolution writing. The debates were intense and intellectually stimulating, challenging delegates to think on their feet. Beyond the committee sessions, the social gathering provided students with the opportunity to connect on a personal level, fostering friendships and networks rooted in shared interests in diplomacy and global leadership.<\/p>\n

This conference taught students invaluable skills such as: Public Speaking, negotiation and leadership, teamwork, & time management, writing techniques and problem solving.<\/p>\n

Some TRRS studentswere recognised and awarded for their outstanding contributions at the closing ceremony.<\/p>\n

We are proud of our students for applying their skills in public speaking, conflict resolution, dialogue, and teamwork to address complex global issues. The DPSI MUN 2025 was not only an academic exercise but also a vibrant opportunity for networking and cultural exchange with students from other schools.<\/p>\n
