{"id":8059,"date":"2025-10-24T12:14:51","date_gmt":"2025-10-24T12:14:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theromanridgeschool.org\/therr\/?p=8059"},"modified":"2025-10-24T12:14:51","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T12:14:51","slug":"trrs-annual-interhouse-athletics-competition-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theromanridgeschool.org\/therr\/2025\/10\/24\/trrs-annual-interhouse-athletics-competition-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"TRRS Annual Interhouse Athletics Competition 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"ember5892\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The Roman Ridge School (TRRS) held its highly anticipated Annual Interhouse Athletics Competition at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Friday 10 October 2025.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5893\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Students from all four Houses: <strong>Cobras (Red), Bears (Yellow), Sharks (Green), and Hawks (Blue)<\/strong> competed passionately across a range of track events including the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and the 4x100m relay. The competition saw fierce school spirit, and unforgettable moments across all four school teams. Each event highlighted the students\u2019 athletic skills, agility, and team spirit.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5894\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The stadium buzzed with enthusiasm as House chants and cheers echoed throughout the venue, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5895\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">After a day of intense competition, Hawks were crowned the Overall Winners, followed by Sharks in Second Place, Bears in Third Place and Cobras in Fourth Place.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5896\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Jormor Adjei and Raina Adjei were honoured as the Best Male and Female Athletes of the competition, respectively, in recognition of their outstanding performances and dedication on the track.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5897\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">We commend all Houses for their outstanding sportsmanship and commitment, which made the event a resounding success.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5898\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Kenneth Amedume (Activities Co-ordinator) the Physical Education Department, House Masters and House Captains, students, staff and supporters for making the 2025 Interhouse Athletics Competition a truly memorable celebration of school spirit and athletic excellence.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8060 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/theromanridgeschool.org\/therr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/shared-image-2025-10-23T163818.104-300x143.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"143\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theromanridgeschool.org\/therr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/shared-image-2025-10-23T163818.104-300x143.jpg 300w, https:\/\/theromanridgeschool.org\/therr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/shared-image-2025-10-23T163818.104-1024x490.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/theromanridgeschool.org\/therr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/shared-image-2025-10-23T163818.104-768x367.jpg 768w, https:\/\/theromanridgeschool.org\/therr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/shared-image-2025-10-23T163818.104.jpg 1472w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Roman Ridge School (TRRS) held its highly anticipated Annual Interhouse Athletics Competition at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Friday 10 October 2025.
