They were introduced to the daily processes involved in collecting meteorological data and predicting weather conditions.

A memorable highlight of the experience was stepping into the role of junior weather forecasters. Guided by professionals from the agency, students confidently presented their own weather forecasts, strengthening their communication skills while applying the knowledge gained from their lessons.

Students also toured the observation field, where they explored various instruments used to measure and record weather conditions. Seeing these tools in action helped them better appreciate how meteorologists observe, analyse, and interpret weather patterns.

This visit reflects TRRS’s commitment to experiential and inquiry-based learning, ensuring that students can connect theory to real-world applications. By interacting with experts and engaging with professional equipment, learners strengthened their understanding of weather and climate.

The trip was made possible through the support of Class 3 Teachers; Nana Serwaah Osei-Adjei, Bertha Lartey, and Gloria Ofori-Attah, whose guidance helped create a meaningful and memorable learning experience.

At TRRS, learning extends beyond the classroom, encouraging students to explore, discover, and connect their studies with the world around them.

Our Class 3 pupils recently enjoyed an exciting educational visit to the Ghana Meteorological Agency in Accra as part of their Geography studies on weather and climate.
