This prestigious competition serves as Ghana\u2019s national qualifying event for the UN-backed AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5973\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Bringing together talented teams from across southern Ghana, the challenge focused on designing, building, and programming robots to tackle one of the world\u2019s most critical challenges, food security. Students applied principles of robotics, automation, and computer science to address real-world problems on a competitive game board, fostering innovation, critical thinking, and sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5974\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Participating for the very first time the TRRS Robotics Team demonstrated remarkable determination, ingenuity, and technical skill. Their impressive performance placed them among the top teams in the competition and earned them a robotics equipment award to further strengthen STEM learning at TRRS.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5975\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The experience provided students with invaluable hands-on exposure to advanced programming, mechanical design, and algorithmic thinking. Beyond technical expertise, the competition also enhanced their collaboration and problem-solving skills under pressure. The awarded equipment will further enrich STEM opportunities for both current and future students at the school.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5976\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">We are proud to celebrate the students who represented TRRS: Kekeli Fiawoo (Lower 6 East), Klenam Asem (Lower 6 West), Giovanni Francis (Lower 6 East), Zarin Subah (Lower 6 West), Ashwin Prakash Rao (Lower 6 East), Petra Adjei-Kumi (Lower 6 East), Zuo Yitong (Form 4 Atifi)<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5977\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Patrick Owusu Afriyie (Computing Coordinator) and Samuel Boateng (Physics Teacher) for their dedication in organising and supporting student participation in this enriching experience.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember5978\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Congratulations to our students and mentors on this impressive achievement.
