Following our commemoration of TRRS’s 20th Anniversary, TRRS students have thoughtfully created a Student Time Capsule filled with meaningful objects, messages, reflections and hopes for the future. This special capsule has been buried under our new Primary Eating Area & Sports Complex and is set to be excavated and opened as part of our 30th Anniversary Celebrations slated for 2033.
The purpose of this exercise is to offer future students a window into the past and to preserve memories for those continuing their journey at The Roman Ridge School.
Representatives from the Student Body across the whole school gathered to officially present the Time Capsule for burial, proudly witnessed by Management and Staff representatives.
As the TRRS Student Time Capsule was placed into the ground, our current Head Girl Shraddah Gupte and Head Boy Selasie Agbosu presented a moving dedication, on behalf of all current TRRS students, addressed to TRRS students of the future:
“To the future discoverer of this capsule,
May you find joy in uncovering the past!
Today, The Roman Ridge School stands proudly as a place of learning and growth, and we wonder how it will evolve in your time. Cherish the stories of this place as we have.
Being a student here has taught us countless lessons that will stay with us forever. May this school remain a beacon of heritage for generations to come.
Keep its legacy alive.
From The Roman Ridge School of today to The Roman Ridge School of tomorrow, we send this capsule filled with memories and hopes.
It’s been a journey, and we hope you continue building on what we started. Remember the good times, learn from the challenges, and keep the spirit and pillars of The Roman Ridge School alive and strong.
