We’re proud to celebrate the outstanding performance of our students at the 2025 Chess Tournament held on 25 October at the Accra International Conference Center. This exciting event brought together young chess enthusiasts from various schools to compete in friendly yet competitive matches across different age categories.
This tournament created a platform for students who share a passion for chess to test their skills, showcase strategic thinking, and foster healthy competition. Nine(9) students from TRRS participated, demonstrating remarkable focus and sportsmanship throughout the games.
Their dedication and preparation truly paid off, with three of our learners earning top honors:
- Bryan Adu Boahen (Class 5 Atifi) – 2nd Place, Boys Under 10
- Serena Quarm (Class 6 West) – 3rd Place, Girls Under 10
- Sachiin Raja (Form 2East) – 3rd Place, Boys Under 16
At TRRS, we are committed to nurturing cognitive and critical thinking skills while fostering a spirit of perseverance and teamwork. This tournament not only encouraged our learners to challenge themselves intellectually, but also provided a valuable opportunity for our students to gain real-world experience, build confidence.
