TRRS Easter Concert 2025: A Celebration of Faith, Hope and Love

On 28th March 2025, The Roman Ridge School hosted a memorable Easter Concert at the Primary School Block. This event brought together students, staff, and parents to reflect on the profound significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, celebrating Christian messages of hope, sacrifice, and new life.

The event kicked off with the Reception Class leading a procession while singing a joyful, triumphant entry song, Hosanna. This set the tone for a morning of reflection and celebration. Class 1 & 2 pupils narrated the Easter Story, which was beautifully complemented by hymns and songs performed by Middle & Senior School students. Mrs. Theodosia Antwi (TRRS Parent) and Mr. Prosper  Gbonfou Agbosse (French Teacher) performed a beautiful duet that brought the audience to their feet!

TRRS continues to nurture academic development alongside cultural and religious understanding, ensuring that every student benefits from an inclusive and educational experience. The morning was a fun-filled event and a meaningful opportunity for students to learn about the significance of Easter. Christian themes of love, sacrifice, renewal and hope were woven throughout the performances and activities.

A special highlight of the Easter celebration was the Easter Egg Hunt, organised by the Junior School Prefect Committee for the Lower Primary pupils. Beautifully wrapped packages, filled with treats and candies, were hidden around the school grounds and eager pupils were given clues to help them search for them. It was heartwarming to watch their excitement as they raced against time to find as many as they could!

This year’s Easter event was a success thanks to efforts of our pupils and the dedication of our staff facilitators: Mrs. Deborah Kotey, Ms. Gloria Awuku-Boateng, Mrs. Viviane Sowah, Mr. Richard Yeboah, Ms. Christiana Bonyan, Mr. Michael Osei Sasu, Mr. George Edzie, and the Sound Team.
