On 19 June 2025, TRRS, in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), hosted an impactful Drug Prevention Education Programme for our Forms 3 students. This session addressed the pressing issues surrounding drug misuse and prevention, with the aim of educating students and the wider school community on the dangers of substance abuse.
Led by Narcotics Control Officer (NCO) Sandra Abakah-Quansah, the interactive session provided students with practical knowledge to navigate peer pressure and societal influences. The session sparked open dialogue, encouraged thoughtful questions, and helped students understand the real-world consequences of drug misuse, empowering them to make informed, responsible choices.
At TRRS, we are dedicated to nurturing responsible, well-informed decision-makers. This programme aligns with our goal of promoting resilience, healthy decision-making, and empowering students to confidently make well-informed decisions.
We extend our sincere gratitude to NCO Sandra Abakah-Quansah for her insightful presentation, and to Mrs. Alberta Hassan (Designated Safeguarding Lead) and Mrs. Abenaa Asare (PSHE Coordinator) for facilitating this enriching session. Together, we are shaping a drug-free future and equipping our students with life skills that will benefit them for years to come.
