The Chairman’s Bursary 2025

Established in 2014, the Chairman’s Bursary aims to celebrate exceptional achievement at a globally competitive level. This applies to academic & sporting achievements.

Bursary recipients for outstanding academic performance must attain straight A’s across all Cambridge IGCSE examinations taken at Year 11 (Form 5) at TRRS. Successful students receive an award of a full term’s tuition in our Sixth Form College, valued at GHS 32,200.

For the June 2025 Cambridge IGCSE Examinations, TRRS presented fifty-eight (58) candidates who achieved an excellent set of results:

A* – A = 65%

A* – B = 85%

A* – C = 95%

From this outstanding cohort, a record-breaking 11 students were awarded straight A’s, qualifying for the 2025 Chairman’s Bursary.  The following students were honoured at a Special Award Ceremony held on Wednesday, 10 September 2025 and in the presence of their proud parents, teachers and their peers:

Nicolas Aldrin Nayo – 7 A*, 2 A

Joshua Brew-Aidoo – 7 A*, 1 A

Ameera Naa Ayorkor Sowah – 7 A*, 1 A

Venetia Banahene – 7 A*, 1 A

Zarin Subah – 6 A*, 3 A

Klenam Asem – 6 A*, 3 A

Zoe Arko Boamah – 4 A*, 4 A

Petra Ama Adjeiwaa Adjei-Kumi – 2 A*, 7 A

Baffour Kofi Nsenkyire – 8 A

Bursaries totalling GHS 354,200 were awarded to our exceptional students by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Frank Adu Jnr.

Since its inception, the Chairman’s Bursary has dispersed a total of GHS 1,678,600 – a testament to The Roman Ridge School’s commitment to invest in our students, to nurture excellence and develop future global leaders.
