TRRS Celebrates Diversity at the International Cultural Showcase 2025

In celebration of United Nations Day, TRRS hosted its annual International Cultural Showcase on Friday, 24 October 2025. It was a vibrant event that highlighted the rich tapestry of cultures within our school community and to celebrate diversity and multiculturalism.

Students proudly represented their countries through traditional attire, performances, and presentations that celebrated heritage and fostered cross-cultural understanding.

The TRRS Model UN Club and representatives from the Ghanaian delegation opened the showcase with a warm welcome, emphasising Ghana’s legacy of tolerance and multiculturalism, and expressing excitement about learning from the diverse backgrounds of fellow students who now call Ghana home.

The event featured captivating contributions from nations including Guinea, Togo, Uganda, Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Congo, Nigeria, China, Lebanon, and India.

This celebration not only nurtures inclusivity but also enhances students’ public speaking and global awareness; key skills for thriving in an interconnected world.

Additionally, by sharing their unique heritage and traditions, students promote cross-cultural understanding, break down stereotypes, and build a more inclusive environment.

We extend heartfelt thanks to all the Parents who joined us, making the day even more special and memorable.

At TRRS, diversity isn’t just celebrated; it’s embraced, nurtured, and shared every day!
