TRRS Students Tour the University of Ghana School of Law

On 2 December 2025, a group of TRRS students had the unique opportunity to visit the University of Ghana School of Law. This educational tour was designed to give Sixth Form students firsthand insight into what it takes to pursue a legal education at one of Ghana’s most prestigious institutions.

The visit began with an engaging session led by a senior lecturer from the School of Law. Students were informed about the expectations for aspiring law students, the various programmes offered, and the structure of the law curriculum. This interaction provided clarity on academic requirements and the rigour involved in legal studies.

Following this, students connected with current Law students who shared their personal experiences and challenges, offering valuable first-hand perspectives on life at the School of Law. The tour concluded with a walk through the Law Library and Lecture Halls, giving participants a real feel of the learning environment.

This initiative aligns perfectly with TRRS’s ethos of holistically preparing learners for a smooth transition to the next phase of their education and life. By exposing students to real-world academic settings, we empower them to make informed decisions about their future.

The experience offered students exposure to the realities of studying law at the University of Ghana, direct interaction with faculty and current students for practical insights, and a clearer understanding of academic expectations and opportunities.

At TRRS, we believe experiences like these are invaluable in shaping the aspirations of our students. We are grateful to Ms. Anna Mensah (Careers and Guidance Counsellor) for facilitating this visit and to all of our students for making the most of this opportunity.
