The science Department of TRRS organised an Inter-House Science Quiz Competition from 14- 16 January this year. The competition, which was keenly contested, tested their knowledge and application of topics taught in class while promoting healthy competition across all levels. The event featured a variety of contests across all sections, encouraging students to demonstrate their knowledge and critical thinking skills in Science and Mastermind challenges
The competition was a rigorous three-day event that showcased the brilliance of our students across every level. It began with the Junior School Contest, followed by the Middle School rounds, and concluded with the Senior School competition. Throughout these sessions, students demonstrated not only their mastery of the subject but also the benefits of teamwork and quick critical thinking.
In the Junior School category, the Bears took the lead, while the Middle School saw a fierce tie between the Cobras and the Hawks. The Senior School category was ultimately dominated by the Hawks. After tallying the points from all three days, the Cobras emerged as the overall champions, followed by the Hawks in second place, the Bears in third, and the Sharks in fourth.
Beyond the academic challenge, the competition serves as a unique mentoring opportunity, helping our students evolve into confident public speakers who can articulate complex ideas with poise and precision.
This successful event was made possible through the dedication of the Science Teachers across all sections, who served as facilitators and mentors. We congratulate all our participants for their hard work.
