On 26 February 2026, our Class 4 pupils enjoyed an educational visit to Bethel Dental Clinic. The visit provided a valuable hands-on learning experience that reinforced their PSHE and Science lessons on teeth and oral hygiene.
The pupils were warmly welcomed by the dental team and participated in an engaging session led by Dr Rachel Cofield and Dental Assistant Roberta Ayettey. They learned proper brushing and flossing techniques, the importance of healthy eating, and why regular dental check-ups matter. The interactive experience allowed them to ask questions and even see how a dental chair works.
The experience encouraged pupils to develop positive habits, care for themselves, and interact confidently with professionals. The hands-on and interactive nature of the visit also reflected our dedication to meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom; ensuring education is both engaging and impactful. Students received goody packs which included dental floss, toothpaste and toothbrushes from the clinic, as they returned to school with a more practical insight into dental care and oral hygiene.
We are grateful to the management and staff of Bethel dental Clinic for their warm reception and expert guidance on good dental care.
We also thank our dedicated facilitators: Mrs. Abena Boateng, Miss Lorinda Wiafe-Agyei, Mrs. Joyce Dekagbe, and Miss. Esther Nsarful for their support in making this trip a success.
At TRRS, we believe that learning comes alive when pupils experience it firsthand.
