The campus of The Roman Ridge School was alive with electric energy on Thursday 15 October 2026, with a vibrant Pep Rally on the eve of one of the most highly anticipated events in our school calendar! Students assembled in their bright house colours, chanting slogans and setting the stage for an unforgettable display of athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit.
On Friday, 16th October 2026, the excitement moved to the University of Ghana Sports Stadium for the 18th Annual TRRS Inter-House Athletics Competition. From 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, our athletes pushed their limits across a thrilling line-up of track events, including the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m races, alongside the highly competitive shuttle and 4x100m mixed relays. Competitors across the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior divisions gave their absolute best, displaying incredible discipline and sportsmanship with every stride.
Following hours of fierce competition and closely contested races, every single point mattered. In the end, it was Hawks (Blue) who proved unstoppable, soaring above the rest to emerge as the Overall Winners of the 2026 trophy! They were followed closely by Sharks (Green) in second place, Bears (Yellow) in third, and Cobras (Red) finishing in fourth.
Thank you to all House Masters and Staff, House Captains and Deputy Captains, Parent Supporters, our entire Physical Education Department and especially our Activities Co-ordinator Mr. Kenneth Amedume, for organising another successful Inter-House Athletics Competition.
Congratulations to the Hawks and well done to all our mighty Houses – Sharks, Bears and Cobras for making the day and unforgettable one!
