Students from TRRS proudly represented the school at the ICS Invitational Chess Tournament held on 24 April 2026. The event brought together talented young chess players in an engaging environment designed to promote healthy competition and sharpen cognitive skills.
Participants, selected from Class 4 through to Form 3, competed in a series of challenging matches that tested their analytical thinking, strategy, and decision-making abilities. Beyond the competition, the experience offered valuable lessons in sportsmanship, and perseverance, while fostering a strong spirit of fair play.
The tournament was both exciting and rewarding for the TRRS team. Through remarkable focus and resilience, one of our students; Sachiin Raja (Form 2 East) emerged as the Overall Winner in the Senior Category!
This achievement reflects TRRS’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded learners by encouraging critical thinking, strategic planning, and healthy competition.
The team was expertly guided by Mr. Daniel Dodoo (TRRS Chess Club Patron), whose mentorship and support played a key role in their success.
