Heavy rains and floods might have forced us to alter our plans, but it could not dampen our TRRS school spirit! While our highly anticipated Speech and Prize Giving Day for our Junior School was unfortunately cancelled due to the heavy downpour on Monday, 29th June 2026, we made sure our pupils’ hard work did not go unrecognised.
On Tuesday, 30th June 2026, we brought the celebration straight to our Junior School children. Instead of the traditional grand ceremony, we held an intimate Year Group Awards Programme directly with them, proudly presenting all academic, leadership, and extracurricular prizes to our deserving children. We celebrated them and captured colourful snapshots of our joyful celebrations, with deserving Award Winners beaming with pride. While our original programme could not come on, the energy was high and the celebratory cheers from peers were louder than ever!
Our pupils expressed their sympathy and compassion for those who were affected by the flooding and prayed for all the families and children who impacted.
We are incredibly proud of every Junior School pupil for their resilience and outstanding achievements this academic year. Your dedication and love of learning is inspiring to all of us, rain or shine! Thank you to our amazing parents for their support and understanding and our teachers and staff who quickly adapted to ensure our students still received the recognition they earned.
