The Roman Ridge School (TRRS) successfully celebrated its Senior School Speech & Prize-Giving Day on Friday 26 June 2026, honouring outstanding student achievements across academics, leadership, global competitions, sports, and community service. In a historic milestone, the Graduating Class of 2026 has secured an astonishing USD 2,075,010.83 in total university scholarships to date, with awards still rolling in.
Academic brilliance shone brightly as presenters shared highlights from the year, including:
11 exceptional scholars who achieved straight A grades across all Cambridge IGCSE papers in June 2025, earning the prestigious Chairman’s Bursary—receiving a combined GHS 354,200 in Sixth Form tuition scholarships.
Zarin Subah and Iman Hamza were honoured with the Harvard Prize Book 2026 from the Harvard Club of Ghana.
Another top performance across Africa by TRRS with a record-breaking 364 medals, 5 global Gold Finalists and the highest school participation globally in The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2025.
Queen Igbasan (Form 4) was awarded 1st Place Worldwide in the ISEB/IAPS “Time to Write” Creative Writing Competition 2025
Sara Adoley Quaye (Form 5) being named the Young Commonwealth Artist of the Year 2026
Ezinne Anya (Form 3) securing 3rd Place Worldwide in the IAPS iArt Competition 2026
Demonstrating a profound commitment to civic duty and leadership, Naa Adobi Tetteh, Mafata Konneh, Zarin Subah, and Kekeli Fiawoo were selected for the Yale Young African Scholars programme 2026
Iman Hamza, Zarin Subah & Naa Koshie Manyo-Plange were presented with Special Awards by the Zonta Club of Accra
The Class of 2026 announced that they had reached their fundraising goal of GH¢75,000 to support the efforts of Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana, providing treatment and care for children fighting cancer at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
