Life Lessons is an on-going series hosted by our Careers and Guidance Department that supports The Roman Ridge School’s commitment to create pathways for our students to explore careers through practical, real-life engagements with professionals across diverse industries. On 26 May 2026, we hosted a session for Form 3 and Form 4 students, and were honoured to welcome two TRRS Parents and distinguished professionals excelling in their respective fields: Mrs. Korantemaa Adoo Nimo and Mr. Kofi Mensah, Esq.
Mrs. Korantemaa Adoo Nimo, is a seasoned Communications and Strategic Marketing professional with over 12 years of experience across multinational organizations and leading institutions in diverse sectors. Mr. Kofi Mensah Esq. is a transactional lawyer. He co-founded ABM Attorneys at Law, a full-service law firm based in Accra.
Through engaging discussions, they highlighted the challenges they encountered in their respective careers, the strategies they employed to overcome those challenges, and the valuable lessons they learned along the way. They also emphasised the importance of academic excellence, alongside the cultivation of essential life skills such as resilience, adaptability, communication, and a commitment to continuous learning. Their experiences provided our students with a realistic perspective on the professional world and the mindset needed to thrive within it.
This session of Life Lessons proved immensely beneficial, equipping students with first-hand knowledge and a deeper understanding of the competencies required to successfully navigate their educational and career pathways. It also inspired them to pursue their aspirations with purpose, determination, and confidence.
This initiative strongly reflects TRRS’ dedication to the holistic development of our learners. Beyond academic success, we are committed to preparing our students for life by nurturing personal growth, career awareness, and practical life skills. We continue to create meaningful learning experiences that bridge the gap between classroom education and real-world opportunities.
