Our Middle School community came together on Thursday, 25 June 2026, to celebrate the outstanding achievements of pupils at the Annual Speech and Prize-Giving Day, centered around the inspiring theme, We Rise by Lifting Others.
The event was a powerful showcase of academic excellence, vibrant musical talent, and student reflection over the past academic year. Guests and visitors were treated to a beautiful saxophone solo serenade of Giacomo Puccini’s Nessun Dorma by Jamie Prempeh (Class 6) and moving performances by the Middle School Choir including the TRRS School Anthem & School Hymn To be a Pilgrim, as well as spirited renditions of I Won’t Let Go and the local Thanksgiving Song Nkwagye Kruwa.
Following a warm Welcome Address by the Head of Middle School, Mr. Bruno Waze, acknowledging the hard work and collaboration of pupils, staff and parents, we enjoyed heartfelt Messages of Congratulations from the Middle School Prefects and the the Academic Board of Governors.
Attendees gained unique insights into student growth through the “Our Year in Review” presentations and the poignant “Learning through the Eyes of our Learners” reflections shared by student representatives across all year groups.
The ceremony culminated in the presentation of Awards, Certificates & Prizes and the prestigious Principal’s Honour Roll and Special Certificates of Distinction and Highest Academic Distinction, awarded by Mrs. Valerie Mainoo (Principal) and the Academic Board of Governors.
A huge congratulations to all our prize winners, talented performers, and dedicated organisers for making this celebration a success!
