We are proud to share that a group of our talented Lower 6th Form students have been selected to participate in the prestigious Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS) programme: Zarin Subah, Naa Adobi Tetteh, Mafata Konneh, and Kekeli Fiawoo.
This highly competitive academic programme, run by Yale University specifically for high achieving African students, brings together secondary school students from across the continent who demonstrate remarkable leadership potential, academic excellence, and a commitment to giving back to their communities.
Being chosen is a significant honour, as our four students underwent a rigorous selection process against thousands of peers across Africa. During the programme, Zarin, Naa Adobi, Mafata, and Kekeli will engage in demanding university-level lectures, seminars, and workshops designed to sharpen their critical thinking and prepare them for higher education opportunities globally.
We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to these outstanding individuals for earning this incredible recognition. Your dedication to your education and your potential as future leaders makes our entire school community immensely proud. We wish you the absolute best and look forward to hearing all about your experiences upon your return!
