Diplomatic Excellence: TRRS Delegates Triumph at DPSI MUN 2026.

On 24 September 2026, a delegation of talented students from Form 3 to Upper 6 proudly represented The Roman Ridge School (TRRS) at the DPSI MUN 2026 conference, held at Delhi Private School International, Ghana.

The prestigious programme brought together over 400 students from five prominent international schools, including the American International School, Ghana Christian High International School, International Community School, and the host school, DPSI. Engaging across 13 distinct United Nations committees, our students immersed themselves in rigorous debates and strategic negotiations to find diplomatic solutions to real-world global problems.

A thrilling highlight of the three-day conference was the unexpected “Crisis Twist”. This sudden challenge forced delegates to discard their pre-prepared, AI-assisted speeches and research, relying entirely on their raw critical thinking, adaptability, and intellectual agility to navigate the simulation.

This event beautifully reflects the core values of TRRS, directly contributing to our commitment to Academic Excellence and Activities. By participating, our students gained invaluable benefits, including developing a deep appreciation for diverse opinions on complex worldwide issues and phenomena. They also built robust capabilities in public speaking, communication, formal debating, negotiation, critical thinking, and collaboration.

TRRS was ably represented by a strong delegation of students and we are proud of all participants, who demonstrated exemplary diplomacy. We extend special congratulations to students who achieved top honours at the event:

  • Zaima Aribah (Form 3 West) – Best Delegate
  • Rehan Ashfaq (Form 5 Atifi) – Outstanding Delegate
  • Sadik Suleiman (Lower 6 West) – Outstanding Delegate
  • Naa Koshie Manyo-Plange (Upper 6 West) – Outstanding Delegate
  • Jinelle Affum (Form 5 East)– Outstanding Delegate
  • Annable Oware (Lower 6 East) – Outstanding Delegate
  • Nana Odoma Obeng (Form 5 East) – Best New Delegate

An achievement of this scale requires immense dedication. We would like to express our profound gratitude to the staff and facilitators who guided, supported, and chaperoned the students throughout this journey: Emmanuel Gbedemah, Ruth Tetteh, Eric Asare, and Daniel Dodoo. Congratulations to all our delegates for keeping the TRRS flag flying high.
